It is preferable that student volunteers be familiar with the sport of Field Hockey and the various roles involved in match administration of the sport.
*For Matches & Tournaments:
- Act as a Technical Official (record scores, control match timing, manage the penalty areas etc.)
- Act as a Match Umpire (officiate matches)
- Act as a Marshall (control access to the teams' areas when a
match is in progress)
*Additional For Tournaments:
- Hydration Volunteer (ensuring team areas have ice & refreshments)
- Venue Access
- Tournament Admin Assistance
*Assist with youth development initiatives (camps, clinics, coaching sessions etc.)
*Assist with the operation of the BHF's Social Media accounts
*Assist with the operation of the BHF's Website
*Assist with the Treasurer's duties
*Assist with the Secretary's duties
