No of volunteers that can be accommodated
Seven students at any one time but it depends on the time of the year.
During the summer vacation we accommodate at least 4 students for 6 weeks drawn from 5th or 6th forms, the Barbados Community College the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute of Technology for the Ministry of the Public Service programme.
Hence, only 3 University students can be accommodated during that time with the CAPE and CSEC students. Outside the 6 weeks up to a maximum of 7 students can be accommodated but that is subject to the discretion of the laboratory.
