Imperial Education Barbados was founded in 2015 with a vision to
provide a more affordable, strategic and aggressive approach to
teaching in Barbados. We believe that a more streamlined approach
to learning can accelerate a student's learning curve and enhance
his/her development. Our programme was developed and tested
through an after-school programme for three years, where we
helped some of the island's top performers achieve outstanding
results, such as Danielle Blackman's 2018 award for top girl in
English. This success gave us the confidence to expand our
programme into a full-time offering, and in September 2018, we
launched Imperial Private School, accepting applications from eight
full-time students.
Our school is unique in that we aim to develop our "searching for

Einstein" programme, which nurtures critical thinking and problem-
solving skills among our students. We also use different techniques

that cater to each child's needs and abilities, such as:
- Tailored homework that reinforces what they learn in class and
challenges them to apply their knowledge.
- Continuous assessment that tests children until they have
mastered concepts, instead of relying on standard mid-term and
end-of-term exams that may not reflect their true potential.
- Term segmentation that divides each term into two-thirds of group
teaching and one-third of one-on-one drills that focus on individual
strengths and weaknesses.
Our school motto is "Becoming the Strong", which reflects our
commitment to helping our students grow intellectually, emotionally
and socially. We believe that by providing them with a high-quality
education and a supportive environment, we can help them achieve
their academic goals and prepare them for future success.
