Planning, Research, and International Relations Unit play an important role in enabling the Ministry to carry out its mandate of providing quality education for all Barbadians. The Unit has the responsibility for the provision of information to inform the formulation of educational policies and programmes and to assist with the determination and recommendation of appropriate strategies to solve problems across the educational system through research, the use of statistics and Educational, Human Resource and Economic Planning. In addition, the unit has responsibilities for International Relations.
