Ministry of Labour and Social Partnership Relations

Through our programs and services, the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) of Barbados primarily works to empower women and girls by helping them to develop their potential - spiritually, intellectually and socially. The YWCA is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation that has been serving Barbados for 67 years. Primarily a women's organisation with a Christian purpose, our objective is to build fellowship through which members and their families can recognize the value of human beings irrespective of age, national race or religion. We are a member of the World YWCA network, through which we have partners in 125 countries with over 3 million women giving service. (Registered Charity No. 470, dd. 2000-10-09).
