Union Collaborative is a non-profit company which is a creative and social enterprise and a registered cultural agency which has a mandate towards the promotion of established and emerging cultural practitioners,  facilitating programmes for the arts and design communities management of cultural, creative and productive spaces for the benefit of communities and supporting and conducting research, education and activities to increase public awareness of art and design

Union Collaborative’s inaugural project to which it sets policy and manages is The Co-Exist Project; which endeavours to rebuild the cultural foundations of underinvested properties and neighbourhoods in Bridgetown and incite movements of community (social, economic, and environmental) revitalisation that are culture based, creative led, people centred  and neighbourhood driven.

The first project site of The Co-Exist Project is UNION @ Beckwith which will see the adaptive reuse of and renovation of the property known as the Beckwith Mall, Hincks Street Bridgetown.

Space, Tools and Programming are the three main elements of the UNION@Beckwith.  It is being redeveloped as creative cluster with the provision of studio and wokrshop spaces, exhibition and performances spaces, an artists’ | designers’ | makers’ marketplace, tools, programming for learning, research and business development.
