Vision 2020 – Project Implementation Unit

Responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of We Gatherin’ 2020 projects that would include but not be limited to project planning and implementation, stakeholder engagement including coordination of all key stakeholder meetings, management of all financial obligations related to project delivery and monitoring and evaluation of the We Gatherin’ 2020 activities and events.


Activities Required
Research - the conduct of qualitative and quantitative research to support all key projects and to inform concept documents.
Data capture and compilation of statistical reports to support programming and impact assessment.
Administration – responding to calls and queries, preparing documents and reports, sending out correspondence, updating files, scheduling meetings, taking notes of meeting.
Marketing and PR- providing support in the local marketing and mobilization campaigns. Supporting requests for content by media , other partners and interested parties.
Event Management - assisting the PIU and Parish Organising Committees (POCs) with event planning and coordination.
Logistical Support – assisting with the branding of We Gatherin’ venues, sale of memorabilia, distribution of marketing collateral at We Gatherin’ events as well as assisting the POCs with specific tasks.
Information Management - circulating requests for information and follow up, responding to requests for information on We Gatherin’ and general information sharing.
Any other duties assigned
