Barbados Family Planning Association

The Barbados Family Planning Association [BFPA], was established in May 1954 and incorporated by an Act of Parliament in June 1967. The Association provides sexual and reproductive health information, clinical services, education, training, community outreach services and research.
Our clinical services include: contraception, HIV & STI checks, pregnancy testing, pap smears, gynecological treatment, ante-natal care, fertility treatment, family life counselling and other related services. The BFPA has also established the successful Youth Advocacy Movement project (YAM), which empowers young people to make informed decisions regarding their Sexual & Reproductive Health Rights.
