The practice was founded in 1965 as the first chartered architectural firm on the island, by Captain K.J Tomlin. Tomlin is often considered the “father of architecture'“ in Barbados. The firm continued to grow under his partner Andrew Voss. While the firm is registered as TVA Consultants in Barbados, we operate under the brand Tomlin Voss Associates. For 50 years we have been providing a comprehensive professional service covering all aspects of building design throughout not only the island, but also the region. Our projects cover the whole spectrum of building types from luxury residential refurbishments to ecclesial restorations, and to multi-million dollar commercial developments. Our clients also include private organisations, governments, international agencies and commercial institutions.
